Faith is relevant in uncertainty.
When your model of life (formed from your past) does not explain your current experience.
It would also apply when you experience is not stable and consistent and flickering all the time with access doors opening and closing beyond your control appearing to do so at their own whim.
A person will always judge transformation as negative if it is only based on the past.
The only way transformation can be judged positively is by faith.
Transformation: Judging by past(negative) -----vs------ Judging by faith(positive)
What is loved has been lost ----vs----- What is loved has not yet come.
To live itself is to step into the unknown and it is to have faith.
The peak of the dnos is the lowest point,
The point where the caterpillar has entirely de-structured and become the cocoon.
Where one walks into the unknown in pitch darkness,
And where all movement happens through faith and faith alone.
Faith is the vehicle that carries you through such dark times.
One knows not where one is.
Whether what is happening is a blessing or a curse,
Or even how to make any sense of what is happening.
Suicide, Depression, Bitterness, Alienation/Separation/Anti-social feelings, Thoughts of destruction of everything, all show a crisis or lack of faith.
This faith is actually the force of life itself that moves everything inexhorably.
This is the underlying condition at all times anyway.
Time makes you and breaks you, in its own time.
It structures and de-structures you.
When growing or dying or transforming, there is a lot more uncertainty,
Lot more of stepping into the unknown, and therefore a lot more of change/life in a sense.
Life = change/unknown/mystery/spirit.
When things are stable and repetitive, there is a chance to build something of your own,
Where this faith/unknown/uncertainty becomes knowledge of the world/certainty.
Life powers a steady identity platform for you, and makes its actions invisible to you by steadily maintaining it.
This then gives one the experience of being an individual and building your own things.
However, the greatest mystery of death,
Although greatly veiled in a steady structured predictable known lifestyle,
Still lurks and has been the intrigue for all of mankind in all times, since it is still the greatest mystery.
What is before birth, and what is after death, are still the 2 unknowns.
What we call our present life, is sandwiched between these 2 unknowns.
In-between we build our own bubble of knowledge and live and navigate our whole adult life through those structures.
We know not where we come from, and we know not where we are going.
The waterfall falls from the: Unknown ----- to the known ----- Back to the unknown.
In-between we live this lifestyle, in the train of life, watching the view from our assigned seat.
